Inventory Manager at Network Recruitment

Overall Job Purpose:  Management of all aspects of inventory including but not restricted to Distribution Planning, Distribution implementation and rebalancing, stock control (including group stock counts) as well as related reporting to Executive team.
Responsibilities:

• Inventory Planning
• Facilitation of workshops to analyze current distribution strategy
• Analysis of inventory based on current strategy and report
• Distribution Management
• Assessing current model (frequency/cost), quantifying cost/benefit
• Assess routes and optimize
• Stock Control
• Assist in compiling of group cycle counting and event counting policy
• Together with IT, define system counting process and manage implementation thereof
• Maintain group cycle counting calendar

Essential Required Qualification:

• National Diploma on Operational/Logistics/Inventory Management
• SAPICS Inventory management is a preferred qualification
• 5 Years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven track record of inventory optimization
• Experience with managing stock control of similar size entity
