What you will do:

• Explore industry trends and discover exciting investment opportunities.

• Collaborate on structuring investment projects and negotiating favourable terms.
• Develop engaging presentations, memoranda, and supporting materials.
• Facilitate due diligence efforts with the help of expert consultants.
• Ensure the preparation of clear, legally binding documentation that reflects agreed terms.
• Craft concise and insightful reports to keep everyone informed.
• Build and nurture trusting relationships with partners, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Support planning efforts and actively participate in events.

Position overview:

• Our client is looking for a strong candidate to join their team as an Investment Analyst / Manager in South Africa who will manage projects for the purposes of investment portfolio development.

What you need:

• Ideally hold a BCom Degree in Finance or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• CFA, ACCA, or CPA certifications are welcome.
• 3 - 6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or Big3/Big4.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and extensive experience in financial modelling (DCF).
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for solving complex problems.
• Developed communication skills with a results-oriented focus.
• Ability to multitask independently.
