Invoicing/ Billing Manager - Bramley, JHB at Impact

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled detailed-orientated Billing Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the billing department of the organization.
• This involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, monitoring accounts receivable, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies.
• The Admin Manager will also provide guidance and support to the billing team, oversee the implementation of billing policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the billing process and ensure accurate and timely invoicing of clients
• Manage a team of billing specialists and provide leadership and support as needed
• Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve these goals
• Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient billing operations
• Respond to billing inquiries and resolve billing issues as needed
• Prepare and present billing reports to senior management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in billing or accounts receivable management
• Strong knowledge of billing processes and procedures
• Experience with billing software and systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred
