    IOS Repair Technician

    About The Role: 

    • The IOS technician is required to ensure that all IOS repairs are repaired within the prescribed turn around time stipulated by Apple, so as not to affect customer service, also to provide adequate repair feedback on repair documentation and to ensure that all repairs, as well as all administration of these repairs are facilitated as per AASP guidelines.
    • The IOS technician will be required to have a thorough understanding of Apple technical repair procedures and must ensure that he or she constantly reviews and checks the latest service related articles and procedures introduced by Apple with regards to IOS repair.s The technician must also ensure that all certifications pertaining to IOS repairs are kept up to date and do not lapse.The technician should also have a thorough understanding of how this role affects customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Repairs:en

    • Ensure that daily repair target is met 
    • Correctly analyse, diagnose and address customer reported issues.      

    Policies and Procedures:

    • Adhere to relative compliance standards 
    • Ensure customer devices are handled with care and properly packaged during repair process
    • Quality Control 

    Administration:

    • Ensure that all information is 100% correct before closing repairs and returning to Apple
    • Responsible for ensuring the correct parts are ordered 
    • Ensure that accurate quotations are issued for faulty/damaged units based on diagnostics and fault isolation

    Stock Control:

    • Daily accountability of open jobs, statuses and assigned spares
    • To ensure that parts are returned to the warehouse to minimise risk and stock losses

    Product Certification/Training: 

    • Ensure that product certification is achieved on an ongoing basis as per product launches
    • Keep up to date on the latest GSX articles and complete self study product courses 

    Required Experience and Qualifications: 

    • Matric
    • Apple iOS Certified (ACIT) or similar technical qualification
    • 3 years experience with Mobile device repairs

    • Ability to meet deadlines
