Irene, Centurion | AU Pair at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties: Collect from school, Take to extra-murals, Assist with and supervise homework, Grocery shopping on your behalf, Engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with the child, Prepare meals for your children, Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)

Requirements:

• The family is looking for someone who is either a teacher or has a strong academic background who, in addition to transporting their daughter from school and to extra-murals, can assist her with preparing for tests and exams (Grade 8).
• She already has an extra Maths tutor and her language subjects are good but someone who is/was good at the “studying subjects” (history, geography etc) and can pass on some of those study skills to my daughter would be great.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
