Recruitment Vacancies at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties:

• Collect from school, assisting and supervising with homework, transporting as needed, general care and educational stimulation, assisting with anything childcare related
• Salary: R8000 per month plus petrol for any driving done within working hours. 
• The occasional morning school run will be needed and will be paid at additionally as a per hour rate as this will be an adhoc service.

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Duties:

• Engage in stimulating and educational activities with the child.
• Ensure you have activities set up for the week, creating themed weeks and activities.
• Ensure that the child is reaching age appropriate milestone, ensure the child is ready to start school in 2025.
• Take to extra murals, and outings, give snacks and liquids as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience with the age group, someone who loves kids, has the ability to stimulate and educate age appropriately.
• Ensure that the child is reaching age appropriate milestone, ensure the child is ready to start school in 2025.
• Some ECD Qualification or nursery school teaching.

Duties:

• Collection from school and other driving duties for the child (extra murals, extra lessons, appointments, playdates, errands etc);
• Assist with homework;
• Communicate with teachers, extra murals service providers etc;
• Age-appropriate stimulating activities for the child;

Duties:

• Driving and picking up the kids from school and other activities,
• Helping the children with their homework and preparing them for tests and exams,
• Playing with the children,
• Cooking easy recipes,
• Helping Keep the children's rooms tidy and clean and enforcing responsibilities for unpacking their school bags and sports bags,
• Light shopping,
• Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)

Requirements:

• The family is looking for someone who is either a teacher or has a strong academic background who, in addition to transporting their daughter from school and to extra-murals, can assist her with preparing for tests and exams (Grade 8).
• She already has an extra Maths tutor and her language subjects are good but someone who is/was good at the “studying subjects” (history, geography etc) and can pass on some of those study skills to my daughter would be great.
