    IStore Sales Coach

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    • We are looking for a skilled and motivated sales coach to join our team!! As a sales coach, you will be responsible for training and mentoring our sales teams to help them deliver excellent customer experiences, achieve their targets and improve their performance. You'll also collaborate with other departments to make sure the sales team is aligned with the company's goals and values.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Sales Coaching

    • Create customised coaching plans for underperforming team members and stores based on their sales, conversion rates, mystery shopping results and specific goals.
    • Monitor progress by regularly assessing team members' performance and providing feedback.
    • Provide ongoing coaching to team members to help them develop the skills and behaviours they need to succeed in iStore.
    • Work with managers to identify areas where the sales team needs additional support and provide guidance on how to address those challenges.
    • Foster a positive learning environment by providing constructive feedback, encouraging collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Build relationships with team members that are based on trust, respect, and open communication.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure the sales team is operating at the highest level possible.

    Induction Training

    • Develop a comprehensive training program for sales team members that focuses on improving sales techniques, relationship building, and product knowledge.
    • Deliver Sales training courses for new iStore starters to establish the Apple Customer Experience baseline
    • Implement sales script training and a sales simulation for new starters to prove their competence and sign off for store readiness
    • Ensure all new starter progress is monitored throughout induction and a comprehensive report is communicated post induction to all stakeholders and red flags or potential problem areas are clearly communicated together with corrective measures.
    • Develop a comprehensive training program for sales team members that focuses on improving sales techniques, relationship building, and product knowledge.

    Sales Training

    • Conduct regular training sessions to help team members stay up-to-date on the latest sales techniques and product developments.
    • Conduct regular evaluations of the training program to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
    • Facilitate sales training courses to staff as part of learning paths and based on business needs.
    • Facilitate ACE refreshers monthly for any existing or new staff based on coaching performance, mystery shopping results or manager feedback.
    • Ensure continuous development and improvement of ACE Coaching
    • Assist with Training initiatives and maintaining content on all learning systems

    Required Experience/Qualifications:

    • Matric
    • Relevant tertiary qualification/certifications (e.g. sales coaching) 
    • 5 years + relevant work experience
    • Proven experience as a sales coach or similar role 
    • Experience developing and implementing sales training programs
    • Deep understanding of sales processes and strategies

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their goals
