User Support: Provide first-level technical support to SA, UK, & Spain hubs. Assisting with hardware and software issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems.
Hardware Maintenance: Assist in the installing, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, CCTV equipment, peripherals, and network devices. Repairing and replacing equipment where and if needed.
Software Installation: Install, update, and configure software applications on users’ computers as needed. Troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
Network Support: Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the company’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.
Security: Administering data and network security for departments including system firewalls, antivirus, group policy, data backup systems, and email security.
Service: Maintain professional relationships with all third parties and internal team members.
Asset Management: Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records, IT procedures, and user guides. Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly.
Training: Provide systems and hardware training to fellow employees, as well as training on network security and the best computer usage practises.
Data Analysis: Creating, analysing, reporting, converting, and transferring data through systems using application software.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT & Systems Lead to identify and implement process improvements and technology upgrades.
Required Qualifications:
Matric;
CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+ (or equivalent)
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar IT support role
