IT Desktop & Applications Support Technician at Kelly

The Role

• We're seeking an IT Desktop & Applications Support Technician in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape

Duties and Responsibilities:

Role is to function as Desktop Support Technician as well as assist in Software Development projects, reporting to the Department Project Manager.

• Provide second Line SAP & Siemens maintenance support to the Operations.
• Provide second Line Desktop Support for Operations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in IT, IS or equivalent
• One-two years experience (advantageous)
• Excellent software development skills and software analysis skills.
• Software development skills: JavaScript & Typescript; C#.NET; NodeJS; React; Redux; ExpressJS; ASP.NET – MVC; Access Database - VBA
• Software analysis skills: Google Chrome Dev Tools and Unit Testing
• Other skills- Microsoft SQL Server 2012 ; Windows Server 2016 and SQL Transactions
• Methodologies- RAD and SDLC
• A valid drivers license (advantageous)
