IT Field Services Lead at Bureau Veritas Group

The IT Field Services is responsible for IS/IT support and oversight thereof for all BV locations in South Africa or as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• SCCM / Microsoft Intune
• LAN/WAN (understanding of VLAN's) Wireless networking
• MCP/MCSE MCSA A+ N+
• 2 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role as listed below
• Working towards a tertiary qualification in management

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the process for helpdesk and on-site client support
• Manage the process for PC hardware installation and troubleshooting
• Manage the process for PC software installation and troubleshooting
• Manage the process for Network troubleshooting
• Duties will also include 1st/2nd and 3rd line support, troubleshooting, administration and configuration.
• Required to be on standby and to travel to satellite locations for immediate support
• Assist with training of new staff members.
• Follow up service and repairs with external suppliers.
• Knowledge transfer within the teams.
• Compliance of all devices in close connection with IT compliance Lead.
• Equipment delivery to users.
