IT Infrastructure Operations Supervisor at Datacentrix

Datacentrix is looking for an Operations Supervisor with knowledge and experience in ITC infrastructure such as LAN/WAN, Data Solutions, Electrical and Power Supply, Cooling and environmental monitoring solutions, Fire detection and suppression, Access Control and CCTV and  Audio Visuals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric
• Must have leadership skills and 5+ years experience in Operations Supervisory 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the smooth functioning of all operational areas within the organization.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources such as personnel, equipment, and budgets effectively to meet operational targets.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure departmental and individual performance.
• Budget Management: Create and manage budgets for various operational functions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality control and quality assurance standards to maintain high levels of product or service quality.
• Vendor and Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols within the organization.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks to operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.
