• To design, specify, build, configure and test solutions for delivering the necessary capability to business that enables quality solutions and a client centric orientation These include pricing and risk management solutions along with their related IT processes.

Are You Someone Who Can:

• Manages the applications that integrate across business areas.
• Ability to work with Excel Prototypes to value trades and an Intermediate knowledge of Excel  
• Responsible for the systematic and methodical investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a business area in terms of business functions and processes, and the information they use across applications. Identifies and examines business needs and determines timely and effective solutions to business functions and processes.
• In the case of Agile projects, the business needs can require updating on an ongoing basis so the focus in on ongoing feedback.
• Acts as a bridge between the business and the IT development teams.
• Evaluates and documents the underlying business architecture and conducts feasibility studies, business cases, risk assessments, prototypes, writes proposals, creates functional requirements (defined in continuous small batches on Agile projects) for new applications and major changes to existing applications made possible by information and communication technology. Comprehensive documentation of Test Plans and coordination of testing effort.
• Document implementation plan and ensure successful implementation. Conduct post implementation review and/or continuous, ongoing reviews.
• Conducts advanced data analysis and complex algorithms.  
• Works with institute stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome.
• Models and frames business scenarios after liaison with business analysts. Identifies what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources.
• Works with IT teams to support collection, integration and retention of data. Solves client analytics problems and communicates results and methodologies.
• Develops experimental design approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses.
• Employs the appropriate algorithm to discover patterns.  
• Defines the validity of the information and works with the data steward to ensure that the information used is in compliance with the regulatory and security policies.  
• Presents and depicts the rationale of their findings in easy-to-understand terms for business.  
• Provides business metrics for the overall project to show improvements and monitoring of performance. Troubleshoots and implements enhancements and fixes to systems as needed.

You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You:

• 5 to 8 years’ experience in financial services or client service industry within a IT Quant Business Analyst environment
• Someone with Financial Risk Management or Credit Risk management background in an investment banking Sector
