    IT Support Techician - Atlantis, Cape Town

    • Dial a Nerd, a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team in Atlantis, Cape Town. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical assistance and support to one of our valued customers. You will be the first point of contact for technical inquiries, ensuring that our customer's IT environment runs smoothly and efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
    • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups
    • Assist with the setup and configuration of new devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
    • Provide user support and training, including assisting with the use of software applications and equipment
    • Monitor system performance and implement improvements when needed
    • Collaborate with our technical team and escalate complex issues as necessary
    • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate support

    Required Skills And Qualifications

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office suite
    • Familiarity with network troubleshooting, including the ability to diagnose and resolve basic connectivity issues
    • Knowledge of common hardware components and peripherals, such as desktops, laptops, printers, and routers
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
