IT Support Technician - Somerset West

- Experience 3 years
- Location Western Cape
- Job Field ICT / Computer
Minimum Requirements
- IT Certification (A+, Network+, Windows 7/10, Windows Server)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Support Technician
- Valid driver’s license with own transport
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Afrikaans & English essential)
Essential experience in:
- Good understanding and strong troubleshooting skills in:
- Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Server 2003 & 2008/2012/2019
- Active Directory
- DHCP
- DNS
Extensive Networking skills/experience.
- IT Security (Antivirus, Firewall’s, SPAM filters, etc.)
- Microsfost 365
- Ubiquity technologies
- 3CX Pabx
- VM experience (VM Ware)
Experience in the following advantageous:
- MikroTIK
- Fortigate Firewalls
- Pastel
- Linux
- Microsoft Azure AD / Sharepoint / OneDrive
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support on the Rola Services Helpdesk
- Installing, maintaining & troubleshooting hardware, software & networks
- Call-outs to remote dealerships.
