IT Systems Analyst at IndSAfri

Job Description

To provide systems analysis services to CIO FD Cluster projects including business requirements, use cases, systems design, technical specifications, and report specifications.

Technical Specifications:

• For system, reporting (including management information) requirements and enhancements

Testing:

Support system testing and user acceptance testing

General:

• Assist in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for the application.
• Design the application user interfaces, classes, and components.
• Work with other systems analysts, designers and architects to ensure the application classes and components integrate with the work of other systems analysts and designers, fulfill the requirements, and meet quality and performance goals.
• Support designers in completing designs.
• Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect other areas of the project.
• Participate in quality management reviews, ensuring the technical specifications and application design and related work products satisfy the requirements.
• Participate in transitioning the technical specifications and designs to the programmers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the specifications and designs.
• Complete all appropriate documentation required by the auditors, programmers, testers, Deployment team, and Application Management team that will maintain the application.
• Run JAD sessions.
• Attend governance meetings where required
• Document the outcomes of meetings with key stakeholders e.g. minutes, agreements etc.
• Interact with software vendors and business/project stakeholders

Qualifications

•  A three year relevant qualification in Information Communication Technology or a relevant 3 year qualification in the field of ICT, Computer Science, Information Science,
• Extensive working experience in web development and Object oriented programming;
• Analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding;
• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, supervisor, business representatives, etc.;
• Experience in performance, regression and integration testing ;
• Experience in relational databases.
