IT/Systems Intern at Mazars

Job Description    

• An opportunity exists in the IT/Systems Department of Mazars, an international professional services firm, based in Umhlanga Ridge, Durban. The individual will be placed on a 12 month internship and will provide assistance with administrative tasks to  the  IT/Systems team. 

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Prioritise job requests received through the central helpdesk ticket system
• Maintain a good relationship with Software vendors
• Complete ad-hoc projects and tasks within the helpdesk environment when required
• Perform general office administration duties
• Liaise with external and internal clients
• Manage all telephone calls (answering, screening, initiating calls, taking messages, and record keeping)
• Assist with computer repairs
• Assist with ad hoc duties

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12
• A+ Qualification advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to learn new and emerging technologies
• Proactive Thinking
• IT orientated and Tech savvy
• Focus on providing a high-levels of customer service
• Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers in person, telephonically, email and via Instant Messaging
