The candidate must possess a minimum of a three (3) year National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (IT) with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Information Technology. Certification in Microsoft, AWS, HP, CISCO Networking will be an added advantage
Knowledge, skills and Competencies:
Active directory 2008, 2012, 2016, Firewall (Sophos, or Cyberoam), HP Switching, Email Server, Antivirus, Microsoft office, ITIL, Networking (Internet, Cabling, Wireless). Active directory Engineer, Switching and routing, Azure, Infrastructure, Backup Exec, McAfee, Office 365, Sophos Firewall, Pen Testing. Approachable, A high level of written and verbal communication skills. Honesty and integrity. attention to detail. Results driven.
Key performance areas:
End user support. Provides support associated with the capability of the computers, printers, and related hardware in use in the institution. Ensure that end user requirements are attended to, enabling unhindered information flow and optimal system functionality in the organization. Assist with assembling of ICT Hardware at IUCMA. Execute duties in accordance with ITIL framework guidelines. Network Administrator and Maintenance, establishes network specifications by conferring with users, analysing workflow, access, Information and security requirements. Server Administrator. Software Maintenance. Backup Administration.
