IT Technicians at Boardroom Appointments

THE ROLE

• You will be responsible for supporting network infrastructure, connectivity, and enterprise systems while developing your technical skills within a fast-paced support environment.
• This is an excellent opportunity for a junior technician who is passionate about networking and eager to specialise within enterprise infrastructure environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Support & Infrastructure

• Providing first-line and second-line support for network-related incidents and requests
• Assisting with installation, configuration, and maintenance of:
• Routers
• Switches
• Firewalls
• Wireless access points
• Supporting LAN/WAN connectivity across enterprise environments
• Assisting with network upgrades, deployments, and infrastructure changes

Troubleshooting & Incident Management

• Troubleshooting connectivity, network performance, and infrastructure issues
• Assisting with diagnosis and resolution of outages and technical incidents
• Monitoring network systems and escalating complex issues where required
• Supporting structured cabling, patching, and physical infrastructure setup

Systems & Operational Support

• Supporting enterprise Unified Communications and networking environments
• Collaborating with senior engineers on optimisation and improvement initiatives
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation and configuration records
• Supporting operational and project-related technical activities

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Key Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in IT, Networking, or related field
• Basic understanding of:
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• DHCP
• VLANs
• Exposure to enterprise networking environments (internship or workplace experience advantageous)
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven environment

Advantageous Skills

• CompTIA Network+ certification
• Cisco CCNA exposure or training
• Experience with network monitoring tools
• Understanding of firewalls and cybersecurity fundamentals
• Exposure to enterprise or call centre environments
