IWMS Specialist at CBRE Excellerate

Position reports to   : Head of BI & Analytics
Business Unit          : Operations

Main purpose / objective of the position:

As an IWMS Specialist, you will be required to configure, customize, and integrate methods of Integrated Workplace Management Solutions (IWMS), including Planon (a fully web-based solution that allows property users and owners to connect with their buildings, people, and processes), by eliminating data silos and aligning solutions into one shared platform.

Duties:

Your duties will include:

• Identify, interpret, and implement technical requirements
• Define application solutions based on client requirements
• Create technical specifications
• Implement solutions using Java, Python, and SQL
• Configure and Customize Planon IWMS solutions
• Integrate into 3rd party applications
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing
• Build and maintain relationships with clients you are directly working with, to ensure value-add, building trust, and developing a strong working relationship.
• Deliver high-quality, reliable results while managing your time effectively.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across platforms and systems
• Develop and maintain documentation related to business process & IWMS solutions
• Identify areas for improvement in IWMS environment and make recommendations for enhancements
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends and make recommendations to improve business processes and capabilities
• Train and educate stakeholders on the use of IWMS tools and best practices

Decision-making authority:

• Works within a framework of existing policies and guidelines/client mandates

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related
• 3 years relevant experience

Desirable Knowledge/Experience:

• Knowledge & experience working on Planon will be an advantage
• Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience in integration methodologies such as SOAP, REST.
