TreasuryONE is excited to announce a brand-new opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organised Junior Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the efficient management of our cashbook processes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile cashbooks daily to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Process and record all payments, receipts, and transfers.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in cashbook entries promptly.
Provide accurate and up-to-date cashbook information to support cash flow management.
Ensure all transactions adhere to company policies and procedures.
Assist the finance team during month-end and year-end processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Xero is advantageous).
Strong understanding of reconciliations and cashbook management processes.
Matric with a relevant financial qualification (certificate or diploma preferred).
Personal Attributes
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proactive and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
