Junior Assessor - Seasonal Talent Development Opportunities (Remainder of 24-month programme) - (1114) at PPECB

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

• Inspection and calibration of containers.
• Monitor temperatures; supervise container and vessel loading at various loading points.
• Cold store survey.
• The minimum administrative tasks that is associated with the job level
• The minimum administrative tasks associated with the job level
• Communicate with various clients on own specific task and outcome of decisions
• Build and maintain good relations with PPECB clients
• Continuous self-improvement in their area of responsibility according to the PPECB performance framework

Job Requirements

• A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Practical experience, theoretical knowledge and competence in Container Loading.
• Experience in various cold chain functions related to the specified geographical area would be advantageous.
• Computer Literate.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and / or with minimum supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• A valid code 08 driving license and own reliable vehicle is a requirement for doing the job.
• Own mobile phone. 

Additionally, the following criteria will be reviewed:

• Relevant Service history to the job in question at the PPECB
• Competency records (verified by L&D)
• Performance records at the PPECB
• Disciplinary records during their service/contract at the PPECB
