Procurement Assistant: Irrigation at OVK - Group

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric; appropriate administrative, purchasing or stock qualification will be beneficial;
• Preferably 2–3 years of administrative experience in purchasing, inventory, or agricultural trade;
• Knowledge of AS400 and irrigation products will be an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities;
• Accuracy, accountability, and the ability to perform under operational pressure;
• Service-oriented mindset and good cooperation with internal role players;
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily administrative support to the Purchasing Manager and Product Series Manager;
• Create, check, document, and follow up on purchase orders and outstanding orders;
• Maintain and verify supplier price lists, costs, and sales prices on AS400 according to approved authorizations;
• Register and follow up supplier, inventory, delivery, and warranty claims through to completion;
• Track credit notes, returns, delivery receipts, and differences between orders, receipts, and invoices;
• Prepare inventory, price, claim, and outstanding order reports and distribute them in a timely manner;
• Maintain product and supplier records, documentation, and electronic files;
• Connect with branches, DC, suppliers, and finance to resolve queries quickly;
• Escalate delays, price variances, and unresolved claims in a timely manner.
