Junior Business Analyst at Core Group

About the Role

• The Junior Business Analyst supports business improvement initiatives by gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements across Core Group’s retail, e-commerce, and support functions.
• This role plays a key part in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring efficient processes, data-driven decision-making, and successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders
• Support the analysis of current business processes and identify areas for improvement
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
• Work closely with internal teams (IT, operations, finance, and retail) to support solution design and implementation
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimisation
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
• Participate in project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Maintain documentation of processes, systems, and workflows
• Assist in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:

• Business Science
• Information Systems
• Finance / Accounting
• Engineering or related field
• 0–2 years’ experience in a business analysis, data analysis, or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
• Basic understanding of business analysis methodologies and frameworks
• Exposure to reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is advantageous
