Job Advert Summary    

• The Junior Commercial Analyst will support the Sales and Commercial teams, as well as Principals, by providing accurate and meaningful insights through standard and ad-hoc reporting. The role will assist with analysing sales and commercial data, identifying trends and opportunities, and ensuring that relevant information is available to support effective business decision-making and sales execution.

Duties and Responsibilities    
Optimise ranging per region per channel:

• Identify brand trends of SKU's which are stagnant or declining in Sales (Pricing, Numeric Distributions etc.)
• Compile market share analysis on Clover products & Principals.
• Analyse returns contribution on sales performance - by region, ASM/AM, store, SKU & reason code.
• Complile market trends using historical data.
• Range products on all principals according to regions and customer groups.

Evaluate efficiencies and optimisation of the promotional process:

• Conduct promo analysis and evaluate per requests from regions & Principals.
• Analyse data for promo trends (seasons, timing, min. RSP's, etc) of Principals and competition.
• Compare sales data internally and availability externally e.g.sales data/stats.
• Establish incremental vs. baseline volume.
• Report on variances, actual against budget.
• Communicate efficiencies and effectivness to sales force and Principal partners.

Compile reports:

• Compile weekly gap analysis between actual vs. budget, volume & MOM by customer by product category.
• Measure and track forward share vs. market share.
• Track price fluctuations.
• Compile weekly & monthly returns analysis and numeric distribution reports.
• Report on national reviews for Clover & Principals: Customer reviews.
• Report on customer performances: according to customer request (Top end/Wholesale/Forecourts).
• Report on incentive tracking - marketing related during run of an incentive for Principals.
• Track performance reports for Trade Marketers during price increases.
• Track and identify numeric distribution gaps.
• Do ad-hoc reporting.

Coordinate Clover Mobile system for Principals:

• Measure numeric distribution and promo compliance.
• Track forward and market share.
• Measure placements as per the perfect store concept per outlet.
• Track numeric distibution of Clover, principal and competitors.
• Track Merchandiser availability and placement.
• Upload and support on call cycles (AM schedule management).
• Compile ad-hoc reports on request and communicate to relevant parties.
