    Junior Content Strategist

    Day-to-day responsibilities include:

    • Cultivate content marketing strategies targeted at driving traffic, engagement, generating leads, delivering sales, retaining customers and building brand awareness.
    • Work with the Marketing and Creative Studio team to deliver content assets that are coherent with the product brand guidelines and strategy.
    • Assist with creating and advancing the marketing and social calendar. With the Head of Content apply data-driven insights to future content strategies.
    • Apply SEO, content development, distribution and measurement to effectively tailor content to reach audience personas.
    • Create and edit content, mobilising storytelling opportunities on all channels — owned, earned and paid platforms.
    • Work with and supervise a copywriter to produce content for social, editorial, and web communications.

    Team responsibilities:

    • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.
    • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the product-specific target audience and drives action.
    • Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics to suit the product vertical or specific audience.
    • Create and edit digital content for target audiences across all multimedia and social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, Mailchimp and Klaviyo.
    • Experience with SEO tools.
    • Collaborate with content management teams, creative teams, writers to implement the strategy.
    • Oversee writing style and tone for all content.

    Requirements

    • Tertiary education from a qualified institution with at least 2-4 years experience.
    • Exceptional writing and research skills.-
    • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability.
    • Excellent understanding of the English language.
    • Digital Marketing experience.
    • A creative mind – no idea is too "out of the box for us".
    • PR experience would be an advantage.
