Junior Data Scientist at Ctrack

Job Overview:

The Junior Data Scientist will play a crucial role in shaping Ctrack’s data strategy and supporting the Business Excellence division. Reporting to the Lead Data Scientist, the candidate will contribute to data-driven decision-making, predictive modeling, and process optimization.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Modeling:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify data-driven solutions.
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets using Python, R, SQL, or similar tools.
• Develop predictive models, perform statistical analysis, and create visualizations to extract actionable insights.

Machine Learning and AI:

• Apply machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) to solve business problems.
• Explore and implement deep learning models (e.g., neural networks) for predictive tasks.
• Optimize model performance through feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning.

Data Strategy and Governance:

• Contribute to the development of Ctrack’s data strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Assist in defining data standards, data quality metrics, and data governance processes.
• Monitor data pipelines and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with the Lead Data Scientist on research projects and innovation initiatives.
