Junior ERP Consultant – Financial Focus (FMCG) at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• A South African software company specializing in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business management systems is seeking a Junior ERP Consultant who will manage application configuration, client liaison, documentation, incident management, and business process resolution for clients across South Africa and the broader African continent.

Responsibilities:

• Client Liaison: Act as a professional bridge between clients and specialist internal resources, maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot retail and distribution software matters within the ERP system independently and collaboratively.
• SLA & Quality Management: Maintain high service quality levels, manage outstanding matters, and execute appropriate hand-offs in line with SLAs.
• Project Delivery: Ensure all assigned projects and tasks are completed timeously.
• Travel: Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Financial Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, including strong knowledge of General Ledger, financial statements, reports, and month-end/year-end closing reconciliations. (Note: Specific React ERP training will be provided).
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in retail, sales, and distribution business process flows (FMCG sector highly preferred).
• Support Background: Experience as a Client Support Consultant, preferably within FMCG software environments.

Preferred Skills & Attributes (Not Essential)

• Prior experience prioritizing and managing business-critical issues.
• Detailed understanding of cash, inventory, and financial cycles in an FMCG environment.
• High reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work non-standard office hours when required.
