Junior Foreman at KFC

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily site planning and task delegation, and step in to manage smaller tasks as directed.
• Oversee a small team, coordinate tasks, and ensure work aligns with quality standards and program.
• Safety and Compliance, enforce safety protocols, monitor PPE use, and report incidents.
• Keep records of daily activities, progress, and materials used.
• Act as a point of contact between workers and management, relaying instructions clearly.
• Assisting employees with general construction tasks.
• Measurement and takeoff for material orders.
• Consulting drawings for layout and preparation of tasks.
• Managing and maintaining a safe and clean job site.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• 2-5 years in a similar construction role, and vocational training (preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of construction processes, tools, safety standards, and blueprint reading.
• Strong communication, basic problem-solving, and task delegation abilities.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) required. 
• Experience with reading and interpreting architectural/structural drawings;                        
• First Aid certification.   
• Working at Heights certification.                                                                     
• Valid license and vehicle are required.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including long hours, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
• Travel is required from time to time
