Junior Front-End Developer at Afrihost

The ideal candidate would have a background in Front-End Development and lots of experience with User Interfaces. We are one of the country's largest ISPs and need someone to join our Branding Department so that we can expand our capacity and continue pushing the envelope in our field.

The position is for a willing, enthusiastic and meticulous person who will work in the Front-End Team. An ideal candidate would have excellent technical knowledge and a strong portfolio of past work.

What your average day would consist of is system development, building emails templates, slicing and interface implementation. Our Front-End Team is responsible for the front-end components of our client portal, all components of our website, marketing landing pages and other internal micro-systems.

Skill & Knowledge Requirements

• A qualification in Computer Science/Development.
• Have a solid foundation in HTML, CSS and programming 101.
• Know your way around Photoshop and Sketch to build out designs provided by the design team.
• Have experience with a Front-End framework (Vue/React/Angular)

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Building client facing email templates used for promotions and system emails using MJML.
• Maintaining website content and adding new features.
• Adding new features to the Afrihost Intranet.
• Assist with building marketing and product landing pages.
• Build out new feature templates for ClientZone and the OrderForms.
