    Junior Golf Cart Assembler

    Overview:

As an Assembler, you’ll play a crucial role in building high-quality products, working with a variety of components and tools, and bringing technical designs to life.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assemble golf carts and electric vehicles with meticulous attention to detail, using hand tools, pneumatic power tools, and electric power tools.
    • Learn and master our assembly processes quickly and effectively to maintain production efficiency.
    • Suggest improvements to management for enhancing assembly workflows and overall productivity.
    • Meet production schedules, deadlines, and quality targets to support team goals.
    • Communicate progress and any issues with supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
    • Perform general workshop duties, including maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
    • Work independently or as part of a team, managing tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including reporting incidents, non-conformances, or hazards that could impact health, safety, customer satisfaction, or the environment.
    • Report any damage or loss of company property promptly.
    • Promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace for yourself and colleagues.

    Required Skills:

    • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading instructions and performing measurements.
    • Proficiency or willingness to learn workshop tools and power tools.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    • Self-motivated with a commitment to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
    • Ability to meet deadlines, work collaboratively in a team, and communicate effectively with superiors.
    • Technical aptitude for handling mechanical and electrical components.
    • Reliability, honesty, loyalty, and a hardworking attitude.
    • Basic understanding of customer service principles to ensure end-product excellence.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided for enthusiastic learners.
    • Previous exposure to assembly, mechanical fitting, or workshop environments is advantageous.
    • Valid driver's license (Code 8 or higher) is a plus for testing assembled vehicles.
