Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Temporary lecturer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teaching and teaching support.
• Administration and student management.

Minimum requirements

• A postgraduate qualification / an honour’s degree in Tourism Management (NQF level 8).
• A minimum of one (1) year lecturing experience.         

KEY FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to partake in module development and coordination.
• Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as e-mail and the internet
• Demonstration of language skills so that functioning can be optimal in the different multilingual environments of the NWU.
• Suitable knowledge of virtual platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of module administration
• Suitable knowledge of computer skills using programs such as Excel, Word, Google Forms.
