The suitable candidate must hold a 3-year Degree or Diploma in Law or Commerce with at least 2 years’ relevant experience, ideally in a debt counselling, regulatory environment, or financial services sector.
A valid driver’s licence is compulsory.
Duties:
Conducting compliance monitoring of debt counsellors with the provisions of the NCA and conditions of registration.
Capturing and reporting on debt counsellor`s compliance reports and statistical returns, Form 41s, and Form 42s.
Participation in the lapsing process including sourcing of new debt counsellors and transfers.
Analysis of documents, information and data received from debt counsellors, preparation of reports with findings and recommendations on corrective action to be taken.
Hosting and participation in stakeholder engagements and webinars.
Provide support to the compliance monitoring team in relation to compliance monitoring activities.

National Credit Act.
Debt Counselling processes.
Compliance monitoring processes.
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure with little supervision.
