3 -5 years’ relevant experience within a liquid fertilizer facility.
Production experience will be beneficial.
A strong mechanical aptitude would be beneficial.
Experience in leading a Team.
Duties
Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the Plant
Work closely with personnel to review product consistency while monitoring consistently to determine trends and areas of improvement,
Work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety Manager to ensure all members of the team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees,
Maintain and support a superior safety and housekeeping program, including all timely communication initiatives,
Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment,
Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals,
Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity,
Ensure the plant and equipment is implemented and maintained in accordance with Engineering standards, local and statutory legislation, ISO systems and Health & Safety legislation,
To develop and lead the continuous improvement activities within the team,
Escalate and assist in resolving any production problems,
Escalate and assist in dealing with staff issues and concerns,
Assist with the development and training of production staff,
Interface extensively with the Marketing and Client environments.
Communicator: Responsible for distributing information to team members and stakeholders.
