RPO Recruitment’s client, a dynamic property development company based in Cape Town is seeking to appoint a Junior Project Manager to join their growing team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the delivery of large-scale residential developments from early planning stages through to final handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing large-scale residential housing developments from town planning and approvals through to project completion
Support the coordination of all project phases, ensuring alignment with approved scope, programme, and budget
Monitor project progress and assist in driving timely delivery of key milestones
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Help identify, escalate, and resolve project challenges to minimise delays and disruptions
Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and administrative tracking
Support overall project governance and compliance requirements
Requirements:
BSc Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related built environment qualification
1–2 years’ experience in project management, preferably within large-scale development projects
Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery stages
Strong coordination and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Effective stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail with strong administrative capability
Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines
Strong problem-solving ability, particularly under pressure
