The incumbent is primarily responsible for verification of compliance to the Integrated Management System (IMS) plans and processes for each department and assisting in quality compliance audits.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in process management, quality control, systems or food technology
Training in or qualified internal auditor (quality, food safety, ethical)
Trained and assessed competent in the theory of food safety (ISO22000/BRC/IFS), quality (ISO9001) and ethical (WIETA/BSCI/Fairtrade) standards
2 - 3 Years’ work-related experience in production and/or quality assurance environment
1 - 2 Years’ work-related experience in internal auditing
Driver’s license (code EB)
Skills Required:
Excellent planning and organising skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Computer literacy (MS Office / SAP)
Job Summary:
Compile audit schedules for verification audits Prerequisite Programs (PRP)/Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRP)/Critical Control Points (CCP).
Review PRP/OPRP/CCP verification checklists for all the departments after risk assessment and PRP program reviews.
Perform activities for the execution of PRP/OPRP/CCP audits.
Assist with the execution of quality compliance or ad hoc audits.
Record all non-conformances, observations and recommendations that occurred within an audit.
Review all procedures, work instructions and forms relevant to area of responsibility to ensure that documents are aligned with KWV’s requirements, as well as that of the standards.
