Junior Systems Engineer at IPT Holdings

Position profile:

• To maintain a customer’s ICT environment as per client’s Service Level Agreement

Responsibilities:

• End user desktop support: setup and troubleshooting
• Create and setup Active Directory user accounts and exchange mailbox
• Maintain customer backups
• Basic peripheral setup and troubleshooting
• Support LOB applications
• Documenting and adhering to strict procedures and policies

Experience requirements:

• 2 Years + Industry Experience
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory user management
• Office365 and Exchange mailbox administration
• Working knowledge with Desktop infrastructure and Microsoft ecosystems. (Microsoft Office and Windows)
• Experience with client and server backup software. (Redstor, Attix, DPM, Backup Exec, Commvault)
• Experience with managed AV solutions. (Symantec, Bitdefender, Trend Micro)

Qualifications:

• Senior certificate
• Relevant Microsoft Certifications: A+, N+ or other relevant IT Qualifications

Behavioural competency requirements:

• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
• Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure

Other requirements:

• Driver’s licence and own transport essential
• Must be willing to work after hours at time
• Must be willing to travel

Salary: R10 000 - R12 000
