Invictus Alpha, the trading subsidiary of Invictus Capital is looking for young ambitious traders to join their Desk. The Desk manages multiple strategies including futures arbitrage, short / long volatility trades, funding rate trades and DEX market making. The company is young and ambitious with the goal of managing $1bn in AUM within the next two years.

About the role

New hires will work alongside the senior traders on the Desk learning industry risk management practices and trade execution techniques. Significant responsibility will be placed on the shoulders of these individuals from early on to meet the needs of a growing Desk. Each new hire will be given the task of managing an individual strategy with supervision from a senior.

Requirements

• An interest in crypto markets or capital. Experience in trading in either crypto or traditional markets is not necessary but will be a bonus.

• A good understanding of expected value and risk / return payoff 

• Love working with numbers and be good with quick math (calculating ratios / percentages in your head should be second nature)

• A history of success in board games or games of chance. For example, have played poker for money, have been a card counter, or played another game of skill for money, such as Bridge, Backgammon etc.

• A highly disciplined person who is able to demonstrate this characteristic in the past results (i.e. through competitive sports, cultural activities, or academics).

• Detail orientated and are able to analyse investment performance independently.

• A highly motivated person who is able to work independently and take on a significant amount of responsibility from early on

• A disciplined individual and can point to this in some activity or activities you have engaged in.
