Key Account Manager at Lotus HR and Recruitment

Our client, a leading niche market manufacturing company, seeks to employ a candidate to manage key accounts in the extract and additive processing sector.

Please note that this role is not an external key accounts role but rather an office based role dealing with key accounts and business development of their extracts and botanicals division.
You MUST have a degree in Chemistry and experience in botanical extracts, as well as sales and customer service.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
• A degree in Chemistry or Biology, specifically having experience in extract processing for the alternative medicine and/or food and beverage sector.
• In addition, you will have proven experience in customer service, key accounts management and business development to generate profitable revenue
• Knowledge of SAHPRA and GMP would be highly advantageous.
• You will have proven experience in continually identifying new business opportunities globally, be confident to cold call prospective new customers and build strong relationships with external business partners
• You will be able to develop, design and compile marketing material, organize and attend local and international exhibitions and promote the product and company with technical marketing and know-how
• You will be fluent in English, be organized, target driven and work well within a team dynamic
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
