    Curation Assistant

    As a Curation Assistant, you’ll work the curation team lead and the curation manager. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers find relevant content swiftly and effortlessly, while also strategically curating and structuring content for maximum SEO impact. We're especially interested in applicants with SEO, data experience or basic HTML coding.

    On a day to day, you’ll spend your time:

    In your day-to-day activities, your primary focus will be on execution, actively engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including country managers and product owners, to develop a coherent information architecture that benefits both users and search engines. Your responsibilities will involve hands-on creation and building of category structures within the CMS.

    You will play a vital role in monitoring and maintaining 'category health, proactively identifying areas that require support, finding issues to fix and fixing them, and actively seeking optimisation opportunities. This involves collaborative efforts with stakeholders across the business to resolve issues and continuously improve category structures and processes.

    You'll analyse category performance data, identify trends, and communicate insights to stakeholders. Collaborating with relevant points of contact to strategise and optimise category performance. This data-driven approach is crucial for informed decision-making and continuous improvement within the category structures.

    To succeed in the role, you will:

    • Express a passion for education, coupled with a sincere desire to enhance the Twinkl website for our customers
    • Demonstrate strong organisational skills to effectively handle workload, prioritise tasks across multiple projects, and proficiently execute tasks.
    • Exhibit a curious and inquisitive nature, always seeking to understand the "why" and exploring ways to enhance processes.
    • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey the rationale behind actions.
    • Confidence in working with data, coupled with a genuine interest in doing so.
    • Display intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Suite, especially in Sheets.

    In this role, you’ll gain:

    • Engage in collaborative projects with diverse stakeholders, including country managers and product owners, spanning various product packages.
    • Attain proficiency in managing multiple datasets, extracting insights, and implementing data-driven recommendations.
    • Enhance your skills and experience with popular software like Google Suite, Tableau, and Jira.
    • Acquire hands-on experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders, refining your skills in project management and stakeholder engagement.

    Requirements

    We’d love to hear from you if you meet the following requirements:

    • Strong interpersonal skills with confident communication abilities.
    • Possess entry-level experience in an SEO role 
    • Experience working with SEO platforms like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Search Console
    • Solid knowledge of HTML
    • Basic experience working with large datasets, ideally on Google Analytics and Tableau. Any other tools would be a plus.
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spreadsheet work, whether on Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
    • Strong communication skills
    • Confidence in digital administration.
    • Exhibits excellent organisational skills.
    • Essential for remote working - You will need access to a fast and reliable internet connection of at least 6mb down and 1mb upload. We recommend you use speedtest.net to check. You will also need back-up power for load shedding (if effected).
