Key Accounts Manager: Foschini Trend and Design at TFG (The Foschini Group)

Responsibilities:

• Managing a large team, so HR experience and previous leadership experience is vital.
• Dealing directly with both buyers and planners within the retail team, so they would have had to deal with some of the major fashion retailers in South Africa.
• Dealing with both Fabric and Trims suppliers. 
• Design/Trend background is essential as the candidate needs a clear understanding of trends to influence product development and insure good rate of sale.Managing the workflow within the team to ensure that product is delivered on time to our Retailer.
• To manage cost centres and budgets to insure best use of company funds. The ability to constantly look at improving costs and efficiencies to insure the best possible service to the Retailer.

Requirements:

• The successful candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in the Design and Manufacturing of Ladies High Fashion apparel. 
• They need to have had experience in managing a Team across various job functions. 
• They must have dealt directly with major fashion retailers within the South African market.
• They need to have had direct dealing with Buyers, Planners, Fabric Suppliers and CMT factories.
