    Key Accounts/New Business Representative (Gauteng)

    The Role

    SBS seeks a proactive and dedicated Key Accounts/New Business Representative to operate in SBS Solutions SA with the Sales Team. The purpose of this role is to achieve sales targets through retention and new sales growth within a defined client base and sector; namely, the Fire Protection.

    Core Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • The Key Account Representative will be expected to formulate key account plans to secure identified existing business and entrench SBS into these client’s core business plans.
    • He/she will be expected to formulate detailed organograms of their accounts and development of their accounts and multi-layered relationships at all levels within the organization to mitigate risk (these multi-layered relationships will have to be strategic and aligned to their key account plan in order to achieve strategic objectives).
    • The Key Account Representative will need to develop loyalty reward programs (call cycles will be set up and monitored based on desired number of visits and attention required).
    • As part of the account plans there must be interaction with SBS Senior Management.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Marketing Diploma or similar (e.g. Sales)
    • Driver’s License
    • Project Management background (preferable)
    • 5+ years sales experience
    • Proven track record (minimum of 3-5 years at previous position)
    • Preferably project management background and/or key account background
    • Technical background within the context of the Fire Industry (can speak the Fire Industry lingo)
