    Labour Relations Manager

    End Date: March 12, 2026

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Provide sound, professional advice to sites/regions regarding identified aspects of Labour Relations.
    • Represent the Company at external dispute resolution forums.
    • Ensure that Line Managers, People teams and Shop Stewards are competent in Industrial relations by providing advice, support, training and coaching.
    • Keep customers updated on latest Labour Relations developments, case law, articles by providing regular feedback and workshops.
    • Provide management with guidelines on how to manage and resolve labour Relations issues and processes.
    • Monitor adherence to labour legislation, policies and procedures.
    • Support the People Team the BU in ensuring that precedent and best practice is consistently applied.
    • Keep abreast of the latest developments in Case law, legislation Regulations and update Company  policies, procedures accordingly.
    • Provide regular feedback and support to the  Labour Relations Director in the Zone.
    • Prepare and conduct Wage Negotiations.
    • Provide Labour Relations consulting supporting to Business.
    • Ensure healthy relationships with internal shop-stewards and Union officials.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant degree in HR/Labour Relations/ Legal
    • Post-graduate qualifications in Labour Relations or Labour Law would be advantageous.
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Labour Relations function or environment.
    • Good understanding of  different Labour Laws in the respective African Countries.
    • Knowledge and experience of dispute resolution processes, rules and regulations.
    • Knowledge and experience in collective bargaining processes.
    • Knowledge and experience in representing the Company at external dispute resolutions tribunals.
    • Industrial Relations capability building.
    • Union engagement and relationship management internally and externally
    • Travel flexibility is required (Ghana, Uganda, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia).
