LDV Fermel Supervisor Maintenance - Wessels at South32

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• As a Supervisor Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a team a maintenance team to ensure the effective execution of planned and unplanned work on Fermels, Manitou’s & Toyota LandCruiser’s.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Ensuring maximum equipment availability, reliability and operational stability
• Safe delivery of maintenance activities
• Control and account for maintenance expenditure
• Ensuring that correct failure data information emanating from the breakdown is routed to the Maintenance Analysis & Assurance  reliability engineers to enable them to perform quality root cause analysis to eliminate interruptions / breakdowns of equipment
• Focus on effective communication and prioritization of breakdowns to ensure the least impact on production operations

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience on maintenance of Fermels, Manitou’s and/or Land Cruisers;
• Underground hard rock mining experience is a requirement.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Grade 12 or N3 Technical Certificate and a valid Trade Test.
