ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position. As a winding engine driver, you will be responsible to monitor and Control the Safe Operation of the Mine Winder to Transport People, Equipment and Materials..
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Receive and reply to signals from Banks man and onsetter for starting and stopping conveyances according to regulation 16 Mine Health and Safety Act;
- Conduct regular checks on all signalling devices, access doors and signalling lights;
- Adhering to all safety Emergency procedures;
- Drive under controlled conditions during Shaft Examinations;
- Transport material and equipment by means of hoists;
- Transport people by means of winders;
- Ensure that weight and loading regulations are strictly adhered to;
- Test the mechanical and electrical safety devices on winding plants;
- Stopping the Winding operations if the working conditions are unsafe.
- Start and take control of winders and shut down winding plants;
- Report any faults and sub-standard conditions;
- Maintain the housekeeping standards in the work area;
- Safe operating of Winding Engine in accordance with Regulation 16 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Winder Engine Driver;
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics;
- Government Hoist Drivers certificate for AC winder as per regulation 16.83.1 of the Mine Health and Safety Act;
- Valid drivers license.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As an operator process, you will be responsible for the execution of production activities, inspections and observations in a safe and sustainable manner.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Compliance to all safety and operating procedures;
- Safe routine inspections of chutes, screens, conveyors and other plant equipment;
- Keeping of all plant areas clean and in good condition during operation, breakdowns and scheduled maintenance;

ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an OPP or DMS or Sinter plant operation (internal candidates) or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as plant operator in a mineral processing plant (external candidates);;
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12 with mathematics for external candidates;
- Grade 10 for internal candidates;
- Ore Dressing Certificate is advantageous;
- Valid drivers license is advantageous.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a superintendent maintenance, you will be responsible role is to manage the day to day maintenance activities of the Trackless Mobile Machines with the focus to minimize downtime, as well as the care of workshops facilities and support equipment, through the direction of a technical support team. .
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Tracks, analyses and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance;
- Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement;
- Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the responsible maintenance section;
- Develops and maintains preventative maintenance programs;
- Sets priorities for projects and work orders;
- Ensure compliance to the MHS Act, regulation;
- Draft, review and maintenance of all identified relevant standards applicable per Operation;
- Ensure that audit and control processes are in place;
- Implements programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness, coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in mining of which 3 years should have been as a minimum in the underground sections;
Qualifications for this role are:
- Degree / BTECH / National Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering;
- Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) Electrical / Mechanical.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As an operator track dozer, you will be responsible to doze overburden or manganese from the applicable dumping area either a waste dump or In pit stockpile. Dumping could include road, ramp, safety and catchment construction.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Participate in investigations into workplace incidents;
- Report any unsafe behavior, conditions and incidents to the responsible person;
- Conduct pre-use inspections, routine inspections and report defects;
- Operate mobile equipment based on operational requirements;

- Will be required to operate the different machines based on operational requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 1-year minimum experience in operating mobile equipment in a mining environment;
- Mining production experience in surface mining operations ;
- Equipment license on either CAT dozer D8, D10.

- As a Supervisor Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a team a maintenance team to ensure the effective execution of planned and unplanned work on Fermels, Manitou’s & Toyota LandCruiser’s.

- Safe delivery of maintenance activities

- Ensuring that correct failure data information emanating from the breakdown is routed to the Maintenance Analysis & Assurance reliability engineers to enable them to perform quality root cause analysis to eliminate interruptions / breakdowns of equipment
- Focus on effective communication and prioritization of breakdowns to ensure the least impact on production operations
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience on maintenance of Fermels, Manitou’s and/or Land Cruisers;
- Underground hard rock mining experience is a requirement.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12 or N3 Technical Certificate and a valid Trade Test.

ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- A minimum of 3-5 years maintenance experience of which 1 year in a supervisory capacity in a technical field;
- Be prepared to work shifts if needed;
- Perform standby duties from time to time as required by the organization;
- Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Degree / National Diploma in a Technical field of study OR a T3/S4 in an Engineering field of study;
- Valid Trade Test would be advantageous.
