Responsible for technical/commercial proposal preparation and accuracy including technical specifications & clarifications/ assumptions/ exceptions, quantifying design and deliverables, installation work scope definition, cost allocation, bill of materials, and estimation of engineering, installation and testing/commissioning based on customer specifications and/or industry standards for Africa region including SSA countries.
Offer tracking: Technical support in offer tracking in cooperation with responsible service sales team
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Manages the database of opportunities and provides monthly report to Region Tendering Leader regarding RFQs received, proposals submitted and orders booked
Developing reports and presentations via SPEAK tool (Salesforce) and maintaining data quality for improvement of tendering performance and monitoring of KPIs presented to Tendering Regional Management
Preparation of pre‐qualification requirements, RFQ analysis and understanding of customer requirements, Preparation of presentations, cash flows and other necessary requirements for tender management meeting and Go/No‐Go decisions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering degree
Advance speaking skills in English and French (speaking, writing and reading)
Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce
Skilled at Influencing and relationship building
Experience in technical problem solving
6+ years of Tendering & Sales activities as lead engineer in HV Products/Services in Power Transmission Systems
Desired Characteristics
Proven ability to deliver high quality proposals in a timely manner
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
