Minimum Requirements    

• BEng Industrial Engineering (Essential/Minimum or)
• BSc Mining Engineering (Essential/Minimum or)
• BSc Metallurgical Engineering (Essential/Minimum or)
• BEng Mining Engineering (Essential/Minimum or)
• BEng Metallurgical Engineering (Essential/Minimum or)
• BSc Industrial Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
• Certificate in First Line Management (Essential/Minimum).
• Minimum of five years' experience in operations planning and execution within a mining or similar industry.
• Proficiency in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Diverse experience in safety, health, and environment compliance and governance.
• Demonstrated competence in managing product flow, buffers, and constraints within a complex value chain.
• Capability to assess operational, financial, and safety risks with effective contingencies.
• Strong technical and operational support skills to drive system efficiency and integration.
• Excellent communication skills and proven capability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Coordinate the integration of processes across the mining value chain to enhance throughput and align with the integrated production schedule.
• Drive improvements in system availability and utilisation while minimising variability to maximise system capacity and throughput.
• Oversee stakeholder relationships, managing internal and external relations to meet business needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and company SHEC policies by developing and implementing effective operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, monitor value chain throughput, and support project management activities.
• Provide technical and operational support to production teams, ensuring the integrity and quality of work within the value chain.
• Facilitate teamwork by promoting a culture of collaboration, motivating team members, and managing performance through development plans.
• Assess operational, financial, and safety risks, preparing and implementing effective contingencies to mitigate such risks.
• Support financial management by contributing to budget preparation and ensuring cost control and budget compliance in operations.
