    Learning and Development Coordinator - Cape Town Based

    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    Genesis, a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our journey of opportunity and growth. This is a unique opportunity that goes beyond a traditional training role. The L&F Coordinator will be instrumental in shaping how we develop and train our staff, from entry-level induction to partner level. This role is critical in instilling the Genesis mindset, work ethic, values, and ambition in our professionals, enabling them to reach their fullest potential. 

    Your role will encompass: 

    • Update and edit Moodle or other Learning Management Systems (LMS) content.
    • Transcribe training videos and ensure accurate documentation of learning materials.
    • Generate reports on training activities and learner progress for management review.
    • Manage learner registration and enrolment process for training programs.
    • Track and monitor individual development plans to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
    • Compile and submit skills development reporting required by relevant Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) in South Africa.
    • Coordinate training-related logistics, including venue bookings, travel arrangements, and materials printing.
    • Assist with general administrative tasks such as diary management and scheduling.
    • Support maintaining training records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with the L&D team to continuously improve training processes and procedures

    You are likely to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in the area of organisational/industrial psychology, learning and development, economics or a related discipline?
    • Proficiency in Moodle or another Learning Management System allowing for transferable skills 
    • Experience in training and facilitation
