Brief Description        

• The Department is particularly interested in applicants with general knowledge of sociology and expertise in a range of subfields of sociology. The department strongly encourages applications from candidates who use theoretically innovative approaches to their research and have a high quality publication record, as well as who can teach and research across a range of sub-fields in the discipline, and including qualitative and quantitative methods.  
• Candidates must possess a PhD in Sociology or a related discipline; demonstrated research record, including publications in accredited journals and a proven teaching experience.
