The incumbent will be expected to contribute to teaching and research in the ecology/biology programs on the Westville campus
She/he will also be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum development and supervise postgraduate students
She/he would also be expected to contribute to curriculum development and administration in the School. Interest in organismal biology or ecology is essential as is a strong background in statistics and experimental design
The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader: Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology
Minimum requirements
PhD in Biology/Ecology or related discipline OR Masters in Biology/Ecology or related discipline, with evidence of submission of PhD for examination
Experience in teaching in a relevant field at a tertiary institution
Evidence of presentations at national or international conferences
Current research activity as evidenced by a publication in quality scientific journals
