Lecturer: Business and Information Management Services
Presenting and conducting lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
Assessing students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
Setting and marking of all assessments.
Teaching and learning with Technology, including administration of study materials and assessment processes
Be responsible for administrative tasks related to teaching and learning in the Department of People Management and Development.
Organise Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums;
Day-to-day management of teaching programmes,
Involvement in any teaching and learning activity as may be reasonably assigned to him /her by the Head of Department.
Participate in the development of study guides and new curricula in line with HEQF structures.
Involvement in departmental or individual community projects.
Present evening / Saturday classes as required and as part of the normal workload.
Participating in departmental, subject, and industry liaison meetings.
Participating in other university committees as may be assigned to him/her by the Department
General administration such as capturing test and assignment marks, and uploading documents on myTUTor.
Student consultation.
Minimum Requirements: Lecturer
A relevant Master's Degree (NQF level 9) in Office Management & Technology or Administrative Information Management.
3 years relevant teaching experience and /or 3 years experience in industry.
3 years of relevant lecturing/research experience in the fields of Office Management & Technology and Information Management
Proficiency in MS Office and other computer programs.
Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
Completion of a TUT License to Teach programme will be compulsory.
Registration with a relevant professional body is recommended, if not registered with a professional body, you will be required to register within 6 months of accepting the offer
